Samantha Magnus is a data leader based in Victoria, BC, with over a decade of experience in data governance, analytics, and team leadership. She’s directed teams and led enterprise initiatives at BC Ferries and the BC Ministry of Health, including a platform that won the Ministry’s Innovation Award, and has supported benefits evaluation work for the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA).
She holds a Master-level CDMP, PMP, MPH, and an MBA, and teaches data strategy at UVic’s Continuing Studies program. She’s active in the local data community as founding director of the Victoria Data Society and teaches data management online as a DAMA Registered Education Provider (REP).
