“ I walked in unsure where to start with AI in our work, and walked out with a one-page plan and three people I’m still talking to. Six months later, half of what we sketched out at Prompt Victoria is live.“

What Is Prompt Victoria?
AI is moving fast. For most businesses and professionals, it can feel impossible to keep up. New tools appear daily. The headlines swing between utopian and apocalyptic. And somewhere in the middle, real people are trying to figure out what any of this actually means for their work, their teams, and their future.
Prompt Victoria exists to cut through that noise.
Presented by VIATEC and co-organized with the Victoria Data Society, PlusROI Online Marketing, and AI4Enterprise, Prompt Victoria is Vancouver Island’s largest AI conference. Rooted in Victoria’s tech and AI community, it’s a full day built around one idea: that the path forward isn’t about chasing every new tool or trend. It’s about finding your direction.
In 2025, 350 people sold out our first-ever event. They came as curious professionals and left with practical strategies, new connections, and a clearer sense of where AI fits into their work and their world. In 2026, we’re going bigger.
Whether you’re just beginning to explore AI or already building with it every day, Prompt Victoria is where Vancouver Island comes to move from disruption to direction.
What You’ll Take Home
Every session, speaker, and conversation at Prompt Victoria is designed with one goal: to leave you better equipped than when you arrived.
Clarity
AI doesn’t have to be overwhelming. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of what it actually means for your industry, your role, and your organization — without the jargon or the hype.
Strategy
Not theory. Not trend-chasing. Prompt Victoria is built around practical, actionable approaches you can bring back to your work the very next day.
Community
Some of the most valuable moments won’t happen on stage. You’ll connect with the professionals, builders, and leaders across Vancouver Island who are navigating this alongside you.
